This is the first triptych in the Stilla series. They depict three different stages of the sea, painted in a minimalistic way, with varying lightning and texture. One (Stilla VIII) is dark as the night, another (Stilla XII) offers a muted light at the horizon, and the third (Stilla IX) is as calm as the sea possibly can be.
